"I found my inspiration from the Flamenco Dancers of Spain. Notably, they’re costumes & headdresses. The textures of laces, the bold patterns & color choices, the ruffles on the hems of their dresses, all these I tried to bring into each hairstyle. Traditionally one tends to think of sleek, tight hair buns and hairstyles when they think of Flamenco dancer’s hair, I wanted to show the juxtaposition between their usual hairstyles and the costuming."
